Nairobi Funeral Home where the bodies of 2 missing Mlolongo men was found.

On January 30, 2025, the body of Martin Mwau, one of the three men who went missing from Mlolongo in December 2024, was found at the Nairobi Funeral Home (formerly known as City Mortuary). This discovery comes just after the body of Justus Mutumwa Musyimi was identified at the same facility earlier today.

The three men—Martin Mwau, Justus Mutumwa Musyimi, and Karani Muema—were reportedly abducted on December 16, 2024, by masked individuals believed to be police officers. The families of the missing men have been searching for answers and demanding a thorough investigation into the case.

The Inspector General of Police, Douglas Kanja, and the Director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, Mohamed Amin, appeared in court on January 30, 2025, and denied any involvement in the disappearance of the men. They assured the public that investigations are ongoing and that the missing persons are not in their custody.

The discovery of Martin Mwau’s body has raised more questions about the circumstances surrounding the trio’s disappearance and deaths. An autopsy is planned to determine the cause of death and aid in the investigation.

The whereabouts of Karani Muema remain unknown, and the families continue to seek justice for their loved ones.
