A chilling domestic tragedy unfolded in the Obama estate of Kayole, Nairobi, when a man allegedly stabbed his wife to death and barricaded himself inside their home with their three children, threatening to kill them and take his own life.
According to a police signal seen by authorities, the incident involved 32-year-old Eunice Wanjiku Wambui and occurred in the Budalangi area. After the fatal attack, the suspect reportedly locked the house from inside, sparking panic among neighbors who heard the children’s cries and rushed to intervene.

In a dramatic rescue effort, locals destroyed the roof and broke down the door to access the house before police arrived. The three children were safely rescued, and the suspect was subdued and taken into custody.
