The three were discovered in River Chania following an intensive search operation led by local authorities. Police officers, assisted by divers and community volunteers, retrieved the bodies earlier today and transported them to the Nyeri County morgue for preservation and postmortem examination.

According to investigators, the woman is believed to have left behind a suicidal note, which is now being treated as crucial evidence in the ongoing probe. The contents of the note have not yet been disclosed to the public, but police say it may shed light on the circumstances leading to the tragic incident.

Residents of Nyeri Town expressed shock and grief upon learning of the deaths, with many describing the woman as quiet but devoted to her children. Community leaders have urged locals to remain united and supportive of the affected family during this difficult time.

Police have assured the public that a thorough investigation is underway to establish whether there were any underlying factors, including possible foul play, that may have contributed to the deaths.

The incident has reignited conversations around mental health awareness and the importance of community support systems, with local organizations calling for increased counseling services and outreach programs to prevent similar tragedies.
