A troubling incident has emerged from Solio Ranch in Nyeri, where five security guards are under scrutiny for allegedly assaulting a 50-year-old man. The victim, Simon Mwangi, recounted his harrowing experience, stating that he was apprehended by the guards on January 8th while returning from his boda boda work. The guards accused him of trespassing, confiscated his phone and cash, and then subjected him to physical abuse. Mwangi was reportedly tied to a tree and beaten, leaving visible scars on his face. The following day, he was found abandoned in a thicket, prompting local residents to demand justice for the brutal treatment he endured.
