A devastating road accident along the Naivasha-Mai Mahiu highway on the night of March 30th claimed the lives of seven members of the same family. The tragic incident occurred near High Peak School when the family’s vehicle collided head-on with a trailer. The impact left the vehicle mangled, resulting in the instant death of four family members at the scene.
The remaining three victims, who were children, were rushed to Naivasha Level Four Hospital for emergency treatment. Despite efforts to save them, they succumbed to their injuries shortly after. The bodies of all seven victims were later transferred to the Naivasha Sub-County Referral Hospital Mortuary.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, which has left the community in mourning.
